Got jailed after failing to cover things up for once.

Character is an understatement.<laugh> Though us kids who saw Brid Town’s first ever game in 1959 never dreamt we would see them at Wembley not once but twice. And 20 years before we saw City there. Very Allamesque. you could say yes but we had some of our best seasons under him. I know of a few other things not mentioned in this article. He got away with a lot.

because he’s not really had a crack at being the main man, no doubt he’d be better up top then out wide
He’s never really been an out an out goal scorer though. He was essentially a striker in that role anyway, always really high and allowed him to isolate a full back to have really effective hold up.

Some footballers aren't model athletes all of the time. Grealish likes a drink, for example.

An example closer to home is James Scott who never really adjusted moving to City from Motherwell. He started off with a really unfortunate injury and I think he struggled mentally with it as well. Young lad, away from home, probably a bit isolated and lonely. When he was injured, he used to eat Domino's pizza twice a week or something, apparently. Normally, you'd say that's unacceptable for an injured player to not be keeping physically fit and having a good diet but it could've been stress-eating and boredom, possibly caused by depression and feeling isolated.
Get the **** out of here you ignorant asswipe.

sorry I’ve replied to the wrong post

This season just gone we’ve had Pelkas and Simons who were in their last year and I will not accept he was signed with a view to a permanent like Boyd because we would have just signed him on a permanent in the first place. Boyd came in the old emergency loan window so that was just bending the rules.

Fair point on Pelkas, not sure on Simons, thought he had an option like Connolly.

Interesting quote from Tan in the HDM on Vinagre

"He's someone that fits into our playing style. He had been in top teams in the past but with limited availability, not because of injury, but because of tactical decisions. We think he has great potential and will help us this season a lot."

Certainly appears that the overreaction on here about his injury record was completely OTT

Yeah you're right, Tan definitely wouldn't want to spin things in a way that justifies the signing, very astute observation from you.

Tan's talking rubbish at least insofar as Everton who were crying out for a fullback at the end of the season. If it was genuinely just tactical that he wasn't even in the squad then it begs the question for what was so **** about him.

So, is what you are saying:
- Tan's a liar
- Vinagre really is an injury prone liability (and Tan knows it so has to 'spin' for justification)
- We haven't signed Vinagre because the club think he'll fit in with your playing style
?

Probably as much spin as Twine being one of England's best young talents.

That's pretty inflamatory, I think there's a fair bit of middleground between 'spin' and 'liar'.

I merely asked the question that if he was genuinely left out by a team who was crying out for a fullback how **** was he playing for Everton?
