He's absolutely the definition of bang average

Yep. His debut against Derby, kept beating his man for pace and then putting it in the stand trying to cross it. And that was about the best we ever saw from him. Never scored, assisted, or did anything of note. Simply a product of a transfer window where we were paying way too little for the level we were playing at and got what we paid for.

Looked every bit a League 2 player whenever I saw him play. Never understood how he divided opinion with people thinking he could be useful at this level, bags of energy and pace but very little else.

Classic case of a player being rated higher with every game they don't play. Because we haven't seen him much people are curious about him and want to believe there's a talent waiting in the wings, and when he does play, he gets far more slack than someone like Longman does.

The usual phenomenon of the longer a player doesn't play, the better he gets in the eyes of armchair managers/Longman abusing gobshites.

Has pace, adds energy coming into a game but zero end product at Championship level.

Should get a L1 gig though.

Hit the bar once didn't he?

I wonder if Josh Emanuelle's absence from those traveling to Turkey was on Medical advice...?

I think it was more to do with him not being in the playing squad at present, but having said that neither was Allahyar or Tetteh. Maybe it was on medical advice or he is not in the long-term planning, difficult to say without knowing what his actual medical condition is going forward.

There'll be far more teeth pulling due this January. If we're looking to lose a few this coming window and if we're trying to acquire one or two as well, Williams won't be the highest profile player to be moved on. Our squad is massive in comparison to others so it's inevitable.

I'm expecting more of the familiar old guard to shift on. Can imagine Mac moving on would be bad news for some people but I'd rather see a CB come in to challenge for a place. Would be a slight shame for the Chelsea lads but if they do go we've hardly seen them so it would make sense.
