I imagine both are on decent wedges. I wouldn't be too sorry to see either leave assuming we use the freed up cash wisely. Tufan is a luxury we can't afford and we haven't seen enough consistency from Sinik to suggest he'd ever make it as a first team regular. In Rosie we trust.
Sinak has spent most of the season injured and has mostly done a few cameos from the bench so far so very difficult to judge. "Tufan is a luxury we can't afford" - I don't know where to even start with that one. You're an idiot. "In Rosie we trust" - You're an idiot with a premature ejaculation issue.
I can see why Tufan would be let go, just does fit into things, clearly has quality, and maybe the Italian league is more suited to his game. Sinik though, I would be sorry to see him go, there is a player in there, just needs time to get up to speed and used to the Championship.
I would keep the same, I think they will keep Covil, maybe Matty Jacob and also maybe Emmanuel if he proves to be back fitness-wise, and then send him out on loan until NY. I can see Scott/Smith/Chadwick/Callum Jones/Williams & Cannon being moved on.
Well whilst the Moroccans are an exciting bunch I’d be looking to Croatia for players their technical ability and control even under pressure just looks better than most teams at the Cup
Sinik reminds me of Kamel Ghilas, hasn’t really had a chance to play other than coming on as a sub. For me, he’d be no great loss. Also if some of the new summer signings are a possibility to get out, it would show that Acun’s realised he made a mistake playing football manager in real life & also Rosie having more of a say in who’s coming & going. It gives me a lot more confidence.
I thought Sinik looked good in his last few games when he's come on, one of if not the only natural wingers at the club. I would be keeping him and getting shut of some of our 75 central midfielders.....
TBH, I really haven’t seen enough of him to make a fair assessment, but what I have seen reminds me of Ghilas. At the end of the day it’s what Rosie sees in training & if he thinks he’s not worth keeping round, I wouldn’t be too bothered.
This may be a tad out there, but in all honesty of the players we brought in only Seri, and Allayhar for me have shone, the rest have been totally hit and miss, bit harsh on the like of Pelkas who has had some decent performances I know
I think Oscar & Tetteh did alright, even Seri wasn’t great for the first few months, looks better now though.
I think it hasn't helped that we played the way we did under Shota and knew it would take time to gel. It seems like it's happening under Rosie now so would be harsh to show various the door. Allahyar - class bolstered by energy Tetteh - the provider, link up play we've sorely missed and great at winning free kicks in their half Seri - can pick a pass like nobody else in the side Oscar - give him service and he will score plenty Pelkas - drives us forward and has a few goals in him Tufan - not started under Rosie but gives us a great option and will end up starting games too Sinik - looks lively and will make things happen with a good run in the side Christie - just immense in most games Figs - looks solid at defending, now his actual job role has been changed back from playmaker Covil - one for the future and looks promising to me I honestly think the only new signing who is yet to really prove themselves is Woods. Seems to work well alongside Seri but definitely needs to stop the Hollywood passes. For me the Chelsea lads go back, we're yet to see M'Hand and Traore, the latter of which might give us some mettle. Otherwise we trim some of the names we never see and bring in two loans. A right forward for me and a CB providing Greaves is staying left. If so, Elder might go... Mac will go if we do bring a CB loan in. I genuinely wouldn't want us to lose any of the new signings if I'm honest. They do improve us. We've been dour because of the setup, not the individuals (unforced errors excluded from the Shota days).
I want him to be a natural winger, but I haven't seen that at all. I've seen him cut into the middle of the pitch miles away from goal quite often, but don't think I've once seen him take a man or get to the byline. I think that's a big thing we lack.
I noticed that v Reading, he cut inside onto his right foot. Also I hope Greaves isn’t going to be moved to LB, he’s ok as cover, but not as a permanent replacement, Fleming‘a decent & Elder is also decent, I’m surprised he didn’t make the Aussie squad after seeing that game yesterday.
Sinak hasn’t got a left foot so constantly cuts in to get the ball on his right foot before crossing. Not sure why he doesn’t play on the right
Agree a goalkeeper that will own the box and organise the defence like Peter Smiekel, Van de Saar etc not just the person who makes the occasional save. Centre half with the personality of Ashbee rest maybe not as important
I don't have an issue with that necessarily, a lot of wingers play that way. But Sinik never seems to be anywhere near the goal, he cuts inside on the halfway line and plays it inside, and I'm stood there thinking Slater can do that. We need a winger who can take people on.
