Yeah, I think given he has been out for a while, he needs a bit of slack cutting. He's got all the attributes to be at least a solid Championship player and let's not forget, he's still a young lad (21) the same age as Greaves. He proved he can do it last season, so let's give him some time.

Exactly this

what’s the point of keeping someone who won’t even make the bench when our injury list returns to normal.
As well as Pelkas, there are two more incoming plus presumably Traore.

..As depth? The exact thing you need so that when we do get injuries we aren't playing the u23s? There's a reason a squad is 25-30 not 18.

But according to you options to buy make no difference if the parent club wants to keep them? :emoticon-0112-wonde

When that club is a giant, they don't. Halil is different. He's got 2 years left on his deal but been constantly farmed out by Brentford and never been given a chance. It would be logical that he would want out permanently.

We obviously can't sign them permanently for FFP reasons though

That sounds familiar. ;) We can though, we could just put triggers for payments in, as I think you suggested when I made the point you've just made! E.g. when Halil makes his 50th league appearance for us.. things like that.

He has gone to Burnley with no option to buy he could have come here on Loan but he never end of really move on they took action covering it so lets see what they bring.

We could still trigger the option, but there's no guarantees a player would agree terms. Suspect if a PL club indicated a loanee with an option would play if he came back, it would make agreeing terms with the player more difficult.
Depends on the player really.
