Of course they are. And again, if it works out then there's no issues. I'm just curious at the 2-3 timescale put on promotion by Acun when it really feels like if some of the players don't work out, the funds are only there for a big push this year or next.

They haven't put a timescale in it have they?

I'm sure there'll be one as he certainly hasn't put us on TV8 to wallow about in mid table, but I think it's top half this year and have a push next is the official line.

I'm sure they will be managing expectations there though.

If they're putting a top 10 budget together then they going to expect results sooner or later. And rightly so.

Not that it's likely here, but think this is a piss poor attitude personally. Derby fans likely said the same about Morris. Challenging and always ensuring that a club's owner is doing things in the best interest of the club in the long term, not just the short term, is a fan's responsibility. Acun is likely doing nothing wrong so it's not an issue in this case, but to have the above attitude is a dangerous one.
Blah blah boring, I hope Acun becomes the biggest drug smuggler in the world to fund City’s champions league run

They've said three years a few times I believe.

It mattered in 2014 when we blocked the attempt to change our name?

Yes but that’s a bit different.

We will never see the books, we will never know what finances are available. Christ we will never have a clue what each transfer actually costs or what salary a player is earning. Plus once the money is spent the money is spent. We would never know until it was too late and even if we did there’s **** all we could do about this.

We will see the books when the accounts are released.

'One or two more' is what Shota said.

Burnsy isn't suggesting anything and wouldn't have a clue himself anyway. Baz is the more trusted local outlet.

And that's from me who has a lot of time for Burnsy.

Tonight showed how thin we are. Yes a few were missing like Cannon, Wilks and Longman but it also showed our complete lack of depth,we had to put Elder in midfield.

Letting Andy Smith go on loan must mean there's another centre back incoming too. We can't 0lay a back 3 and go into the season with only 4.
