Silly season started already, £150 million for Bowen!
Liverpool, not spending silly money, linked, maybe that price for Newcastle.
Or perhaps Barcelona & Real Madrid, both always skint, but still manages to sign players for a lot of money!
My West Ham supporting mate says they’ve already turned down £70 million, but he also told me, they said they’d let Liverpool sign him for £30 million last year as he’s a Liverpool fan.
Seems they might have changed their minds on that one!

Turned down £70m but would let him go to Liverpool for £30m because he's a fan!.... Of course they would hahaha

The £30 million was last year before he’s really shone & getting the England link this season, the £70 million is apparently recently.
A lot of West Ham fans just see it as a new story after the media, “broke” the stories of Declan Rice going to Utd, City & Liverpool last summer & deals had been done!

There’s no way West Ham would ever have entertained selling Bowen for £30m, they’d barely have got their money back and he was a success pretty much as soon as he got there.

Exactly what I thought, but it was David Gold in charge, & they were regularly taking a quick profit when they saw it, even if it was only a few million.
This is in the West Ham rumour mill anyway, there was some suggestion Liverpool had suggested this with add ons, might have turned Bowen into asking for the move to the team he supports, I gather that might have had a knock on effect as to what West Ham would pay us in add ons & the sell on fee percentage. So if that were the case, we’d be the ones getting screwed out of extra money.

I think your mate maybe just doesn't know what he's talking about, Bowen doesn't even support Liverpool, he supports Man United.

Good news, means we will have a City player at the World Cup. That would make four World Cup final tournaments in a row.

Good stuff.

I remember feeling quite proud with Jelavic leading the line in the WC opener v Brazil – sure he fluffed a decent chance too.

2018 must be Larsson?

2010 – Garcia?

2010 - Richard Garcia (some sources also list Jozy Altidore as playing for City, though we had pied him off by then)
2014 - Maynor Figueroa and Nikica Jelavic (who had the first touch of the entire tournament)
2018 - Jackson Irvine and Kamil Grosicki (Sebastian Larsson was chosen for Sweden but his contract with City expired midway through the tournament)

Kamel Ghilas was never selected for an Algeria World Cup squad.

Jed Wallace is in the final year of his contract at Millwall. Would be a great option for a new number 10 if we drop Honeyman deeper.
