Many won’t fully commit until we start winning regularly…

Its a Hull & East Riding thing…

Allam’s GONE.

It probably is and that's completely understandable. That awful run we went on at home under Shota cannot happen again. We need to be playing entertaining football and scoring goals most of all. I don't think people expect instant success but want to see progress

A fanbase attracting gates of 18/20,000 every home game makes developing all the other revenue streams a lot easier.

I don't think anyone disputes that big crowds would be a good thing. The question is how to get there. It was never going to be easy, we did say many times under the previous ownership that the damage they were doing to the fan base was going to take a long time to fix.

I bet it's someone in the Turkish League or who's played there in the recent past. Maybe Diego Rossi? Looks like he's being allowed to leave and he can play as an attacking midfielder or on the left

He's going Fulham by the looks
Well Tan did give a hint when he said something to the effect that “other clubs have done well by bringing in older more experienced players”

Mesut Ozil anyone ?

He's only on £30k a week at his new club supposedly. I'd definitely have taken him for that

He's only 24. He did say that we don't want players coming for their last pay day and I think that's been clear from who we've brought in.

Tan saying Acun is having to work to convince the player City is the right move makes me think it's a permanent player, so separate to the loan signing we are supposedly close to. Based on one of the Q&A answers I get the impression Baz doesn't know who the player is himself

If it's someone of the calibre of Rossi, it would be a pretty huge investment so a loan would work for both parties first, would need an option too though. I must say given how many attackers Fenerbahce are signing, I think it's pretty likely to be one of theirs.

I think Baz’s answer about ‘trust is hard to gain but easy to lose + good things come to those who wait’ would suggest he does know.

I just feel that would’ve been in the press by now. And if it’s someone we have not been linked with I can’t see it being someone in Turkey

His answer to someone asking who it was 'Hiya. I was told by a source that probably should know, that the player has not been linked, yet. We'll have to wait and see.'

Think's he's in the dark as much as us on this

I understand completely, but the Sinik one wasn't in the press until it was pretty much done either, neither was Oscar. There's definitely been a change of tact from Jan and early summer where we're doing our best to stop news leaking. It cost us with Twine, and almost cost us with Seri.

If it's a high calibre player, hopefully our signings so far will help making the convincing a little easier.
