Hull City have agreed a deal in principle with Malatyaspor's Ghanaian international striker Benjamin Tetteh. The 25-year-old forward will likely become the second frontline attacker signed by boss Shota Arveladze ahead of the new Championship campaign.

Tetteh is understood to have edged closer to a move to the MKM Stadium in recent days after fresh negotiations with owner Acun Ilicali and Arveladze, and will join Columbian forward Oscar Estupinan.

Baz reporting Tetteh edging closer.

Interesting how he ruled it out earlier in the window.

It was part of the interview I translated yesterday. I just didn’t find it interesting enough to post…sorry

he actually said he loves NBA and if his media company got even more successful maybe he’d buy a team.

Find it pretty interesting in terms of the money usually required to buy/operate an NBA club. Requires HUGE sums! Absolutely crazy if he can afford one/it's in the pipeline.

Didn’t sound like he could, or that anything was in the pipeline
Sounded more like a pipe dream, as it was a throw away (as I read it) comment that if his media company got even more successful he’d like to buy a team. Just for the record if my golf became more successful I’d like to win the Open.

I was just discussing the fact that we'll have sizeable sell-ons owing to Turkish clubs, nothing more nothing less. I didn't say we deserved to know or that it mattered, just that it's going to be much more difficult to get a sense of how much profit we've actually made on a player now.
Potentially very astute in another sense, lower up front fees makes it easier to meet fair play regulations.

Something or nothing? I'd like to buy a country estate, but it won't happen.

I wouldn't. Likely too much hassle and cost. (great, wise saying "the things we own end up owning us").
A really nice but relatively modest home plus maybe 1 or 2 holiday homes instead :emoticon-0105-wink:.
