Didn’t sound like he could, or that anything was in the pipeline
Sounded more like a pipe dream, as it was a throw away (as I read it) comment that if his media company got even more successful he’d like to buy a team. Just for the record if my golf became more successful I’d like to win the Open.

I think his comments would be a bit more grounded in reality than that, but maybe not. It was mentioned in here so thought there was a bit more substance to it than what you're suggesting.

Now there's this tweet saying he's signed.

Making Europe without playing for Istanbul teams is a big job. Doğukan had already given the signals of this long ago. Good luck for both Doğukan and Turkish football. I hope it goes very well.

Dunno
I was just saying the person who mentioned it was just referring to the interview I already posted some of.
I said what he said…make your own mind up what it means. Personally I don’t think it means much

This bloke knows what's what.

Rising to £10m for someone with 3 career goals…

He’s older then KLP too.

Idk how much Twine went to Burnley for in the end, but come the end of the season, I do wonder who will have had a better season, Allahyar, Twine or Clarke.

Utterly ridiculous how much English players go for. Fenerbahçe could have a 75% sell-on fee for Allahyar and he’d still be far better value for money than signing someone like Clarke.
It’s ****ing mental they’ve paid £3m alone for someone who had half a good season in league 1. Mental

Wonder if some players we approached and turned us down are now coming back hat in hands when they've seen we mean business..

Either that or we always had a list of targets, and are working through it just as targets generally have a list of suitors. As one fails just move to the next.
