Kesler has revealed Boro made an approach for Greaves, but at a level nowhere near what he's worth.

The club are continuing to try and negotiate new terms with Greaves and Fleming.

I've only seen it commented by Urika and a follow-up question wasn't answered from memory..

Unless Acun bought the club for a stupidly low price, it just seems too unlikely to me.

Think it makes sense to me. A common aspect of a business transaction will be a % of future revenue. I could see the Allams wanting something like 10% of any Greaves or KLP sale as theoretically they're each worth about the same as what Acun paid for the entire club.

I’d personally heard 15% of Greaves and KLP deals. That seemed logical to me number wise too.

Generally I think he talks well, but I thought in that clip he didn't seem particularly aware that hearing about an approach for Greaves would alarm people. I was waiting for him to say something like "but we told them we're not interested in selling to a rival" but it never came.
