Mmmm, not a favourite of mine. Undoubtedly skillful but a bit of a whinger with an attitude problem. Never seems to achieve as much as he should. And a bloody awful hair bun. However we're he to come to us I would give my full support.

He was better than a lot of previous strikers but is he the 20+ goal a season striker we crave & would he be up for wet Tuesday nights in Blackburn & the like?
Not a 20 goal man but if he managed 15 and others weighed in - possible with a more pressing game and a higher line - that would be deemed a success. As for dismal northern winter nights he experienced some of that in his last stint with us. Not an ideal signing but it depends what else is out there.
I'm not after a 20+ goal striker. When we have had players score 20+ we've not got promoted. I've mentioned previously, most that score 20+ don't get promoted. Many that do get promoted don't have a player score 20. Spread it about.
Appreciate the point but don’t you agree having a Toshack, Evans, Dale, Stant, Earnshaw, Thorne, Moore (Keifer not Ronny) type striker (I’ve probably missed some) adds lustre and stardust to a team and enthuses fans more than having a full back or centre back as our main goal threat? Yes bits and pieces scorers got us promoted to the PL but the games were a hard watch. Style and excitement and entertainment are for me as important than winning.
I don't disagree it would be nice to have. Statistically it's a hindrance not a help though. Style and excitement can come from a significant change in style with goals all over. I think shoots of development are showing. Chopra maybe one to add to the list.
