QPR fan's reaction to Willock joining us - sour grapes or what?.................

“I must admit I’m slightly surprised to see that he’s chosen Cardiff for probably a bit more money. That’s pretty poor from him to turn down what we’ve got going at QPR at the moment.

“Can you see Cardiff having a better season than us this season? Probably not. I think it is a bit of a sideways step, and I think it shows that maybe he doesn’t have that ambition himself.

“He won’t do that much at Cardiff, I’m sure, and I think it’ll be interesting to see the reception he gets when we play them, because I don’t think it will be nice.

“At the end of the day, it’s all about the money, isn’t it? So it’s a very strange move on his part, but we’ve got to move on and hopefully we get an even better replacement coming in."

Reminds me of when Wayne Routledge joined QPR, albeit he was on loan to us at the time

It is a bit frustrating when we loan in teenagers and our teenagers miss out.
OK, I know there are teenagers and there are teenagers. Yamal is some teenager.
I would like us to use some of our own instead of developing youngsters for others though.

Well they didn’t say he was rubbish and they’re glad to get rid of him.
Personally I think he will be a good signing for us.

That's where the bitterness comes from. He was one of their better players.

He's not for me. I don't think that we should be hiring rejects from a club that was in free fall last term.

It's odd to want to sign a player like that, yet got rid of Glatzel.

    New management I know.

It was just the wrong time for Bobby G. I'm sure it would be a different story if he was with us now.

Just reading that we gave him a 3 year contract last year.
    Hoping for a profit?

He was decent enough, only Goutas played more games than him last year.
I think Erol wants an upgrade.
Ralls was extended by a year and we won't get anything for him. Hopefully a few hundred thousand for wintle with Ralls as the steady Eddie when needed.

It's a long old season and you need bodies in there.

Siopis and Ramsey seems an interesting combination. Erol said two sixes but it feels more a 6 and an 8. Siopis or CBs win the ball, get it to Ramsey. I thought Turnbull might have been the option in there, but it might save Ramsey's legs.
And give youth a chance Erol.

I'm sure things will start to become clearer in the next 10 days.

But Ugbo made dog sh1te look good. He did absolutely nothing else but score tap ins. A team of 10 players and a goal hanger. To say Ugbo was awful is a disgrace to the word awful.

Hard to know whether to be distraught or proud that this keeps happening.....

Just a shame we can't keep them quite long enough enough to have them valued at 'serious' money really...... can't blame the kids for having their heads turned but it is a much longer route to 1st team football at a club like that than our own, an d our record of playing youth isn't exactly great!!
