I've cited the Athletic numerous times on this Chazz. But you'll say "how would they know" and we go round in circles because unless I get hold of carvalhos pay slip you won't accept it.
So you can’t can you
So you and plt believe what you want
The rest of us believe what we want

I wonder if we're looking at any free agents, I see FLW are suggesting we should go for free agent M'Baye Niang, wouldn't be a bad shout, 29, scored 6 in 14 on loan in Serie A in the second half of the season and 8 in 16 in Turkey in the first half of the season.
In terms of squad size are we close to the limit, 25 isn’t it.

3 Keepers
Coyle
Maka
Jones
Jacob
Burns
Hughes - not sure on the rules for that one the FA website says he would be registered
Giles
Zambrano
Puerta
Mehlem
Omur
Millar
Jarvis
Belloumi
Kamara
Slater
Simons
Longman
Sinik
Bedia
Burstow
Palmer

That’s us at the limit, depending on Hughes and whether or not we actually registered Longman

Well Adana Demirspor is playing with 15 years old keeper due to financial problems.

Funny enough, they had Balotelli, Belhanda, Stambouli, Badou N'diaye (Stoke paid 20M something for him), Montella and Kluivert as coaches. Now they are bankrupt.

I had no idea Balotelli was still playing , imagine having the talent he did and completely wasting it

Hughes and Kamara are young enough to not count.

I think some are probably just annoyed because all summer the narrative was 'see where we are at the end of the window' and where we are is with two basically unknown/unproven strikers, largely the same back 4 we've always had, and a very young/inexperienced CM group. Now the narrative is 'see where we are in two months'. Now I definitely agree it's probably a month early to get too critical of how we're looking, but I think people expressing disappointment with how the squad's been put together aren't entirely out of line.

I understand for some any criticism is seen somehow as an endorsement of Rosenior but really the only people at this point who bring up Rosenior with any sort of regularity are those who seem to want people to move on from him.

The squad to me looks strong and you can tell the players have ability. I aren’t getting into Rosie, we bottled the play offs with 100m worth of players he was never getting those tools here again so can understand why he had to go.

Striker and the CDM situation are the only really valid points for me but let’s see, I just have a feeling we have rebuilt for the better and the young talent we have brought in will flourish and most importantly it’s ours or we have options.

Just had a quick look at free agent strikers, showing Maxi Gomez , weren't we in for him at one stage ?

Surely we can agree a short loan deal with someone to see us through until January.. where hopefully the brain team don't **** up again

Like them or not you cannot say ABBA were not a brilliant band. Like a lot more when I was younger I didn’t think it was cool to like them but as time goes by I appreciate the musicianship, production and the quality vocals and harmonising. You don’t sell the amount they have and continue to attract the attention they do over 40 years after splitting up.

Never liked Oasis, an age thing I suppose, although both my lads did.

Waterloo is a brilliant song.

And Agnetha was gorgeous.

I’m still not convinced that Omur won’t be heading back to Turkey before their window closes. It’s the only thing that makes sense of the Palmer signing to me.

Baz was speculating that they might see fit to use Kamara as an option up front and Palmer can play on either wing at a push.

Ultimately we need squad cover and Palmer would be part of that mix.
