Defenders surging forwards literally IS the TW system.

It's half of it. The playing around AT the back is not part of it. Playing it out FROM the back is part of it. Problem we've got right now is the back line is still adjusting and playing too safe. Macca and Coyle happy to break the lines though, which is part of it.

People talking about not bringing in a striker, we've brought 2 in, 3 if you include Kamara !!! None of us know how good or bad they are, yes it would ha e been nice if we'd have got Canon or the other lad, but circumstances and finances dictated we didn't, it is what it is. From what I've seen of us so far we needed some creativity, hopefully we've got that now with the wingers, and additions, it's now down to Walter to get a tune out of them, let the fun begin. As for thise now suggesting we should have kept Oscar, are they the same who were slating him recently ?
For me at least theres more positives then negatives.

Personally I've no issue with the strikers we've got. I think they'll probably come good. But after Acun and Tan made such a song and dance about getting a big name, landscape changing striker in, to come away with a different one would have been understandable - to come away with none at all is disappointing.

We’re not gonna do it, but having Connolly around given our current options might not have been a bad call.

Well Ernest, Acun disagrees with you on this one. He is following your earlier example to bring in free spirits and free-agents with a Southern Hemisphere focus.

Men wanted for hazardous journey.
Low wages, bitter cold, long hours of complete darkness.
Safe return doubtful.
Honour and recognition in event of success.

Maybe he is trying to fill the stadium.

I don't think Lewie Coyle single-handedly taking the ball from the RB position to the edge of the opposition 18yd box is quite what TW has in mind with his play out from the back system, I reckon he envisages a few more players being involved! I'm not complaining mind.

Is there a link lol.

I'm sticking to my 7.8 / 10 window..

Q. Does Lewie still make the first XI? Giles and Drameh the preferred wing backs? No place in midfield, therefore the bench for the cap.
Lewie still first choice but if Giles comes off or can't play both drameh and lewie are both ahead of Jacobs, so we'll see a lot of both k suspect

He's gone Old School - its in print media.

Expect yours to be dilivered by Royal Mail to the wrong address sometime soon.

Can't find anything at all on it's either a wind up or can you name the print he has done it in, or better still do screen shot.

Pisstake. Same with a few of them. Burstow and Palmer in particular getting numbers in the 40s when there's numbers in the teens available.

Palmer has worn #45 for years now at multiple clubs even before Coventry so that makes sense, I guess. Players get attached to niche numbers these days and stick them in their Instagram handles and stuff. Connolly with #44 is another example.

Rushworth wore #22 at Swansea last year and wears it for England under-21s but equally he’s worn #12 before. Wonder what weird squad numbers Kamara and Belloumi will wear.

Kamara has got to go for 47?
