The Bedia signing is an interesting one. He’s not an up and coming talent like most of our signings.

He’s not had much of a look in at Union Berlin, which is strange as they are struggling near the foot of the Bundesliga. He has been an unused sub on many occasions and then barley getting any time when he has come on.

He did come on at half time against Bochum with the side losing 3-0. It finished 3-4 with Bedia getting the first of their 3 goals.

Prior to that he had 3 seasons at Servette where he scored 31 goals in 68 appearances. More impressively he scored 2 goals in 4 Champions League games and also 2 goals in 6 Europa League games in his last season with the club.

He does score a variety of goals and has good feet and good composure for someone just shy of 6’3”. He has a strong left foot and while he does score different types of goal, he very rarely scores from outside the box.

We've been getting the ball into the box more often and much more quickly, so that last segment bodes well to me.

I think we are in desperate need for a presence up front. You can have that in different ways - target man, workhorse (e.g. F Campbell) or playing a couple of strikers. No team seems to do the last one so hopefully Bedia is a combination of the first two. And of course, scores goals. Though I do expect a lot to come from our attacking midfielders this season (Millar, Mehlem etc).

Not with the number of zero % beer you can buy these days.. eg * Becks Blue actually tastes okay.

* other zero % beers are available.

Becks Blue is horrible, it's what restaurants serve when they've no real interest in catering for non-alcohol drinkers.

The best ones are those with 0.5% alcohol (which are still classed as alcohol free), Brewdog Punk and Lucky Saint being the best.

Only one I have come across I found as enjoyable as a proper beer is Erdinger.

I hear on the grapevine that something will be announced later today. #inbazwetrust

Spiced Rum (white) and Diet Coke. Can go for hours on the stuff and never wake up with a hangover.

Dark rum on the other hand...

Can’t beat Pussers rum, followed by Kraken, Lamb’s Navy and Wood’s 100 proof.

Zaroury just gone to Lens for €9m. Our front line and bench last year have all moved for decent values this summer!
