Football is definetely less regulated. At least WADA do not show up at your door at 4 AM, if it is not changed only 2 random players give a sample after a game.

Ghost Ship 0.5 is decent from Adnams. Their Smidgin Dry Gin is the best spirit (it’s not AF but you only need 3ml to 200ml of tonic - so a pipette is handy). Northern Monk AF beers are good too.
