I do find it concerning that Baz, Mike White or any other media haven’t actually reported the bid accepted for Hughes is from us. That HDM article is just a rehash of the BBC interview.
If they've only just accepted the bid, there's still medicals, contracts to sort out.
We always take an age to announce signings - except those that materialise on the last day of the window.

Travel, medical, legal clearances, transfer of registration, interviews, press releases etc.. We know it takes 2 or 3 days usually.
Unfortunately, it's It's not like we just hand over a suitcase full of cash and the player gets out of their vehicle into ours in some service station car park on M62.

Yep we looked at Auckland (London prices) & Wellington which we prefer and the prices have dropped in the last 6 months.
