Anybody seen Hughes in St Stephens ? Just been in and didn't see him but then again I have no idea what he looks like
Think TJ Hughes closed down, it's TK Maxx in St Stephens anyway but I've no idea if he's meant to be signing.
Best of luck with that, sounds good. Having skills which don't expire is a real advantage in life, something I don't have, the skills that is, not life...
We all have skills mate just need to be tapped into. Sadly the educational system in the UK doesn’t pull it out of the students. My dad was an engineer so I became one too. It’s given me a lot but don’t particularly enjoy it. Would have much preferred to have studied journalism.
According to Fabrizio Romano. Norwich have had a £7M bid accepted for Hughes... I'm going to take it with a pinch of salt until he's a Norwich player or his medical there is confirmed.
Yes we all have skills but in many cases keeping them up to date and marketable gets harder as you get older. In your case I'd guess maintaining engineering skills is harder than it would be for journalism, no? For me I had IT skills which are out of date now and it's really hard to keep up once you're retired and out of the workplace.
Don’t disagree I am 38 but still really enjoy studying and upgrading my skills which is always paid for by the company that employs me so makes it way easier.
Do you mind me asking what do you do for work John?? I thought you had retired from the fishing industry
From what I've heard, he's coming here and should be signed tomorrow. Don't want to say for definite though as we know what happened with Thomas Asante!
They'll be signed before Friday, whether they announce it on the day or on the Friday is down to them. But the player needs to be registered before 12pm on the Friday to play. Couple that with the fact that we have to play tonight and then travel a long way Saturday with a thin squad (potentially traveling the night before, thinking about it), they'll want them in by tomorrow.
