My Cousin lives in NZ, originally from London. She loves life over there. She’s been there about 12 years, says it’s like the UK was 30 years ago.

The last 7 years have been in Vietnam and love it. However, just got a job offer for 3 years to go to NZ, which I think I am going to take, so the likelihood is I will never return permanently to UK.

Yes, there was definitely a time when being a worker meant that you could live reasonably well. No need for the blatant racism though.
