It's the only palatable explanation. Even then that's really strange timing. It's the same as Shota, going the morning of a game after an entire International Break. Acun doesn't seem to do timing particularly well.
Doubt it based on his comments post Plymouth. If he'd had any inkling he'd have been a bit more reserved in his comments I'd have thought.
I think it's fair to wait untill we know a little more before we make shambles comments, there could be any number of reasons. Everyone knows I've been a heavy critic, but I thought he'd earned himself the summer and start of next season
Tricky though, it's the end of the season and gives everyone plenty of time before the new one starts.
Rosenior was arranging fans forums with Mike White after the game, he had no idea. Really feel for him, he’s been harshly treated at both us and Derby now
Unless we're getting Cooper or Potter then it looks pretty poor, and even then I'd have wanted to get them in for the last few games to judge the squad. We're now undertaking a massive squad rebuild and relying on a new manager who doesn't even know the squad. It's getting roundly panned by most and it makes us look a laughing stock. Players were joining us to play for Rosenior, Carvalho's just rehabilitated his game in half a season under him, which put us in a great position to attract other big name players. Delap will be less likely to want to come back with Rosenior gone, it's just done a whole heap of damage to our recruitment even if we do get a big name in.
I don't think we can make any comment about players wanting or not wanting to come until we know who it is, it's just as likely they would want to come in under a new manger as it is they wouldn't want to ATM because nobody knows who that would be.
Not sure there's ever a good time. Right now we need to be telling players whether they're getting new deals and working on the squad for next season. Presumably that is now all on hold. I don't like managerial changes in general unless things are really going badly. It's just so much upheaval, and so much progress gets thrown up in the air.
Well like I said, it'd have to be a big manager, or that Will Still bloke potentially, to go some way to patching up what on the surface looks a really poor decision. I still can't get my head around the new 3 year deal for Rosenior if it was this was the goal.
