Tufan is worth whatever a team is willing to pay for him, like any other player. We can value our players at whatever we want but it doesn’t mean that’s what we will get because there are more factors than just the selling club’s valuation. If he wasn’t pushing for that move and it was some random EFL club like Boro or WBA, we wouldn’t have accepted £2m.
He wanted to go home after Trabzon made that offer, we weren’t going to stand in his way and the money we got was decent fare. Abdush’s deal also played a part; I think he’s far more talented than Ozan and has the potential to make us a big windfall down the line. It might also be that we are buying somebody else from them and that was factored in.
I always thought he was like turbo, from the minute he arrived all you heard was him leavingPhilogene never really gave a toss about City. I think that’s pretty obvious now. I won’t begrudge him because loyalty in football now is so far removed from the game on both the player and club’s sides but it’s clear he played primarily for himself.
Incredibly talented player but last season just felt like he was here on loan.

It’s easy to look too much into things but his body language just suggested he saw us as a stepping stone and nothing more. I can’t fault his talent or even his work-rate tracking back but it all seemed like he was playing for himself, not the team or club as a collective.
He was **** anywayNonsense, he came here to be part of one family and play the style. No other reason.
Selling Giles to one of our rivals for less than we paid one week ago would be the most ridiculous bit of business I've ever seen.

Is it one family because we only have four players?
Nonsense. He came here because of Rosenior, so no surprise he's leaving.Nonsense, he came here to be part of one family and play the style. No other reason.
