He could basically choose any club he wants, if he was willing to take a bit less money.
I don’t think many of the really top teams would want him even on loads less money. The mid table PL teams would but what’s the point in playing for them really when you have achieved what he has already?
Take the semi retirement in a good place for your family and still earning presumably big money
It would be a very sensible thing to have a very good set piece taker playing with a very tall man to aim at. I’d like that.
I thought the rumour was that he didn’t care about money and might consider playing somewhere sentimental. Maybe he had a lovely childhood holiday in LA

Sorry, while I'd love to agree. A truly elite footballer should test themselves against the best, especially before a major tournament.
He was never going to join us but LA is a cop out. Real Madrid fans may have seen this earlier than others .
