Yep did the same & convinced myself it was like signing a new exciting player! Maybe that’s the key; do it all the time & we will all be ecstatic!

An extension for Mo is...odd. He does one thing well that a lot of our other number 10s should: he gambles by making runs on balls played into the six-yard box, rather than hanging around in space. That is effectively his only PL quality skill, however.

Knock that 1 off the front and it is a maybe. Blimey how do Liverpool get away with fleecing teams for players they actively don’t want. Being not good enough for a very good liverpool side does not automatically mean you are good enough for another PL side
I suspect the story is from a pro Liverpool base point where they are casting around for ways for them to raise funds and just making a random link based on the past loan here
Perhaps he will be going for 17m but I would dearly hope it is not to use given he is not worth more than 10m and clearly not wanted. If it were reversed and we had a 10m player that we desperately wanted to keep and a bigger club comes in - that is when you pay more than the value. Not in this scenario
