He was all the rage a few years ago, made the senior Wales squad and scored, played a few for Liverpool, then had *gasp in surprise* a very bad injury.

EDIT: It clearly isn't him, McCann said the player has agreed terms and had a medical, Woodburn is off to Holland.

He was meant to be off to Holland but that's stalled for whatever reason. The signing tomorrow surely isn't him. The ECHO is pretty reliable and Grant said he's already had a medical.

I don't think it'll be a kid, that's not the profile of player we've been targeting. I reckon he'll be someone who's played in L1 a bit. Dan Barlaser has been mentioned, that would be immense. He's only got a year left so would make sense with the obligation to buy, assuming he's on decent wages as he's well thought of
