Looks / sounds increasingly like MH is on his way out. On the one hand, it's a shame. Never a captain but improved last season, becoming a more than decent CCC player. On the other hand ..... could it be that if MH is sold, Bowen goes for c. £20m and Harry moves on, we might finally see new owners?
I still Henriksen is better suited to the European leagues where the emphasis is on skill and not the physical side of the game. He was the best passer of the ball in the team by far.
Wasnt Fry quoted as saying they price Maddison at £2m and that he doubted we could afford him a month or two ago .. I doubt Honeyman will cost a fraction of that tbh. Hence why we are probably going for him .. cheaper options all the time.
I agree that they underestimated the 3 above - although I must admit I’d rather be reading ‘I can’t believe we’re letting him go’ & ‘he’s our best midfielder’

If there’s a god.....please be true. Reactions:slipperof73, SAFCftm1986, Le Skin and 32 others ———— This may be one of the best windows I’ve ever seen us have! Outstanding news. ———— YES!!!! PLEASE BE TRUE! Hull you mugs!!! ———— ****ING GERRINNNN please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image **** I mean, please don’t take our captain fantastic. ———— ****ING GET THE **** ****ING IN!!! ———— Apparently we’ve offered Hull £2 million to take him ———— And a couple of less excited views for balance: I honestly would be 100% shocked if true and I honestly thought Ross was going to persist with him. One thing about him that we can agree on is that he always gave it his all even if it wasnt good enough. We will be a better team IMO without him. ———— Not a captain, not a good winger, not a good number 10, not a good centre mid. Leaves us unbalanced whenever he is shoe horned into the side. This is excellent news if true. ———— He is ****ing shocking. Truly ****ing awful. He literally runs about and thats it. Him freeing up that number 10 position means we go up. Certainly sounds like a great signing!
If we get the Celtic lad Hendry and then Herbie Kane, I'll tip my head sideways and say 'really!!!!''''
I’m no expert! But he is a good player, despite what the clowns on Wearside think. If we can get Herbie Kane and a striker, it’s been a good window.
"Slight knee issue" hopefully not too much of a problem, lets hope so, if he stays fit he just might be a good buy.
