I've liked the look of Marcus Maddison, but wonder if he's not cut out for the finesse of champ football. More of a digger. Shame Szmodics never came onto the radar.
I agree, Henriksen gave the impression of disappearing in matches way too much also, would sooner have a less skilled Marney type in that position
Apparently Honeyman has a good record against City, won twice, drawn once in the 3 games he’s played against us..... be nice if he can do the same to other teams with his city shirt on....
If the club can get a couple of mill in for Henriksen and get his susposed high salary off the books, then good business and not particularly dissapointed about him leaving.
I'm sure with QPR probably being an hours drive from his current home has influenced Pugh in deciding to go there
I expect wages wouldn't have helped either, even if they came into consideration, which they probably didn't.
Arsenal have confirmed the signing of Nicolas Pepe on a permanent transfer from Lille. Breaking their transfer record in a deal worth £72m. Watford have sold striker Dodi Lukebakio for a reported £20m. He only played 15 minutes for the Hornets. Leeds United goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell is undergoing a medical at Burnley ahead of a £3.5m move.
I've no idea where he lives, but assuming it's Bournemouth, you'd need a helicopter to get to Loftus Road in an hour.
Actually Southampton to Hounslow where QPR train 65 miles ish? M3 most of the way so just over an hour unless the rush hour in which case half a day!
You're right, I actually live not too far from Loftus Road and have made the drive down to Bournemouth a few times, it's a sod of a journey.
My office was round the corner from Loftus Road and I regularly went to Southampton (Eastleigh) and you definitely couldn't do it in anywhere near an hour, you were usually lucky to get there in two (and Bournmouth's over 100 miles away). I certainty don't think his decision to join QPR was based on it being an easy commute.
I'd forgotten about this (from January 2017)... Hull City have made an offer for Angers forward Nicolas Pepe. The Tigers are on the hunt for attacking reinforcements after Robert Snodgrass joined West Ham for £10million. Pepe has been on Hull’s radar this January and they now look set to make a late swoop for him in the final hours of the transfer window. Indeed, according to reports in France, the Premier League club have made an offer for Pepe on Monday morning. The exact amount of the bid is currently undisclosed but it has previously been stated that Angers want around £7.5million for the 21-year-old.
