It can only be a good thing that these big transfers from the Championship are being done, when/if it gets to Bowen's turn, we can easily demand £20+ as there's plenty of transfers to compare it to.
 
Sunderland fans don't seem to rate Honeyman at all, but Cliff Byrne will know all his strengths and weaknesses as he was the U23 coach at the Mackems.
Interesting signing though if it comes off.
 
Sunderland fans seem very happy that he’s potentially going. Saying the money should go on Maddison at Peterborough. I’d quite have liked us to sign that Maddison as he looks a really good player.
 
Strange one.
Remember him from when we played Sunderland late 2016/17. The game that pretty much did for us.
Thought he looked a prospect. Really tidy, energetic creative midfielder who was always wanting the ball.
Also remember Pickford had a damn good game. And we were pretty ****e.
Local lad, and captain.
Things must have turned pretty toxic for him up there, assuming he agrees to the move.
At least our crowds match Sunderland's crowds by half time.
