Would take him on as part of a deal with Osvaldo. Believe we need some experience added to the squad and experience of the highest levels of club football

I don't particularly rate Quagliarella, but for £2m why the hell not.

Considering he's in his 30s and has been out of favour for some time, I imagine he'll be resigned to taking a pay cut. I doubt he's earning a ton as it is anyway, and I seem to recall Norwich being strongly linked with him last summer. I reckon he'd earn considerably less than Osvaldo.

Sadly he plays for Benfica, and there are no reports of us scouting their games, so we're definitely not interested in any of their players (just as we are definitely not going to sign any other players who we haven't been reported as scouting, of course).

Scouted Dier 3 or 4 times now tho. So have to interested.

You could equally say we've scouted all the other Sporting players though, since although we have to declare our presence at those games, we don't have to say who we're watching. It's likely to be Dier, but nobody can say for certain. Of course, we don't sign every player we scout either.
