    I don't even require her to be wildly ambitious...after the turmoil following Markus's death and Nicola leaving, I wouldn't mind steady progress along our present path. KL to keep the club, MP to stay, and an improvement in the squad.

    Most likely outcome for next year imho....

    KL stays.
    We sell Osvaldo, but not to Juventus, probably for a small loss (somewhere around £10-12m).
    Hooiveld also leaves due to lack of opportunities for around £2m.
    We sign three players: 1 x CB, 1 x AM, 1 x ST. Spending around £30-35m again (£20m net).
    The youth fill all the rest of the gaps in the squad.
    We finish the season with about 8 more points than this year (60-65).

    We need more then 3 players, we need at least player who can play if Lallana or Rodriguez are out. Atm if one of them is out we are screwed.

    GK, as Davis isn't getting any younger and the injuries are hitting him bad.

    The equation is pretty straight forward in my view. Keep Pochettino and we keep Lallana & Shaw. Both think very highly of him and his style of football.

    He can replace Lambert as penalty taker.
    Switzerland stuck into that World Cup top seed pot but they've actually got a sweet team, and none of the really scary teams are in group E+F, could be good for the quarters at least.
