An alcoholic on rehabilitation goes to AA meeting and stays away from pubs and bottleshops.
A drug user is in regular contact with he or she's medical practitioner / councilor.

A biter ( Suarez )............... Keep him away from people, the game OR remove his teeth and tell him he can only wear 'falsies' when he's not playing.

Here's the strange thing to me. It is such a babyish thing to do!

Apart from a very few high celeb cases, those who most commonly bite other people are toddlers before they've been taught not to.

The man is infantile and needs to grow up quickly.

My prediction, like most of yours, is that FIFA will fudge it. How would their PR look if Uruguay won the WC at the same time as their star player was handed a hefty band and fine? They will probably given player of the WC instead!!!
 
The man is a disgrace and should be banned for a very long time. Unfortunately, I think FIFA will probably do nothing.
Uruguay's trainer is backing him up, saying that he didn't see anything. I bet he has got his team working on the FIFA officials trying to get them to follow the same line.
Can the FA ban him if FIFA do not?

Suarez' teeth don't look like human teeth.

He's guilty, and needs the severest punishment possible. If it were possible, I'd look at throwing the team out of the competition. it seems that something that harsh may be the only way to get through to him.
 
He's a disgrace. An immediate international ban would be appropriate, with a warning that a domestic ban would follow if he repeats it.
 
Was what Suarez did worse than Alan Shearer kicking Neil Lennon in the head, or Roy Keane assaulting Alf-Inge Haaland or Andy Townsend punching whoever it was he punched?

Were ANY of them OK? This isn't about the relative merits of one offence against another - it's about Suarez proving once again that he's an animal who shouldn't have a place in what we still laughably call the 'beautiful' game.

This is the third time he's done this. No more chances, he has to be shown the door.

My point is that the three people I mentioned are all on our TVs pontificating about behaviour on the football pitch.

I think the outrage over Suarez is more to do with the childish, cowardly nature of the offence. If he had elbowed the fella, he may have caused more harm, but people wouldn't be calling for him to be thrown out of football.

This is part of the solution, if he wants to play under FIFA regulations again, tell him he has to remove his teeth when playing, at least the ones he can bite with, and give him a 3 game ban. It was ugly and needs to be stopped in future which this solution allows, but he's not killed anyone which from the reaction I had began to wonder about!
 
Suarez is now also a lying toe rag.

First at the time, immediately afterwards he fell to the ground pretending that he had been hit in the mouth.

Now he is claiming that it was just a coming togther even though the pictures clearly shows he is purposely moving his head towards the Italalian player.

I really hope Fifa hold their nerve with this one and ban him for two years.

Maybe, maybe not but did they have 3 incidents of the same serious nature.

Id give him 6-12 months total football ban but I think they will go for 12 games/12 months international ban.
