Exactly. And if he was playing for their club they would love him.

Shows exactly how fickle football is.

What has Suarez done in the past that has been so bad?

All I can think of is the World Cup handball and I think he did the right thing in that situation.

Let it be known that this DOES NOT mean he is innocent or that evra lied.

Amanda Knox. OJ Simpson etc etc are all testament to the fact that the guilty can get away with it.

So what you and Conscrepe are actually saying is that unless the FA find in the way that you want, Suarez will always be guilty? If that is the case then you can have absolutely no objection if the same stance is taken in comments about Evra. Do you accept that?

Yep look at the stick everyone has given rooney over his dad. The problem is though this a bit more than giving stick, in the eyes of the media being a racist is second only to being a *****.

Nothing been proved either way but mud sticks so I think some fans will always see him as racist now regardless of whether or not it is proved.

Racist or not he's still a prick <ok>

Right Ok, tell me what section of the law contains a charge called nationalist discrimination.

The EU charter:

"Article 21 of the charter prohibits discrimination on any ground such as race, color, ethnic or social origin, genetic features, language, religion or belief, political or any other opinion, membership of a national minority, property, disability, age or sexual orientation and also discrimination on the grounds of nationality."

Please alert your local air traffic control, as you are currently crashing and burning <ok>

No it's not, and the reason bethnall was not charged was because they did not believe the statements about the racist bit.

"The Regulatory Commission found two charges against Chelsea both proved. On the first charge the Commission found that during the course of the same incidents connected with the warm-down by Manchester United players, Chelsea employee Mr Sam Bethell, had conducted himself in a disorderly fashion and that his conduct and language had been abusive and provocative."

So he was charged, and was found guilty of abusive and provocative language.

Will somebody please put that goddamn fire out!! <ok>

Abusive and provocative but they did not believe the racist bit.

On a wider point perhaps the media and the PC brigade will now think twice about their claims that footballers have to be considered as role models. They are what they are - individuals who have a talent for playing football and nothing more!

Lets be honest, the ones who we would prob pick as role models eg hard working, pleasant, educated etc are a very small minority.

Liverpool fans have basically decided evras lying.

I say theres more chance of Suarez being guilty because when suarez gets accused of something......its tends to be true.

Yeah of course you do, because this follows your usual 'logic'.
The fact is that Evra has made claims of this nature before, the investigations into which have proven inconclusive.
Suarez bit an opponent and handballed to prevent a goal...two UNRELATED offences.
And he didn't need to be 'accused' of either, it was clear for all to see.

So with those being the only facts we can CURRENTLY go on, Evra looks the more likely to be lying. And it remains that way until proven otherwise.

But I don't expect you to agree, since you pretty much never change your mind on anything.

And please tell me in this country what you will be charged with.

Any UK law which makes racism illegal also makes nationalist discrimination illegal. So that includes:

The 1976 Race Relations Act
The Equality Act 2006
The Equality Act 2010

I find it quite shocking that you are so ignorant of the law.

Abusive and provocative but they did not believe the racist bit.

That's because there was confusion about whether it was nationalist or racist. Without a direct comment on Evra's race, it couldn't be seen as racisim, as a comment about "****ing immigrants" could easily be referring to other whites from the US, Canada, Ireland etc. It was still a discriminatory comment.

I never said that I wish Suarez to be found guilty. All I said was maybe or maybe not Evra was abused. Who knows expect in reality Evra and Suarez or unless incredible evidence comes to light. Personally I don't think Suarez will be found guilty by the FA as the evidence will either not be there or of such poor evidential weight it will be thrown out.

Just my opinion.

Sorry, I misunderstood what you were tring to say and hence my question <ok>

Erm well maybe but lets look at some quotes from the commission that sat and heard the case.

Evra's account was said to be "'exaggerated and unreliable.'

'There is some confusion and inconsistency in their placing of the alleged racist insult. We should not have expected complete detailed accuracy and consistency in witnesses' recollections of a fast-moving disorderly series of events.
'However, there are aspects of the evidence of Mr Phelan and Mr Hartis which raise serious questions about the reliability of their claims about the racist remark."

The commission also dismissed a claim by United coaching staff that a Chelsea groundsman had threatened to shove his ****ing fork up' Evra's arse.<laugh>

So to me, that is a polite way of saying fook off you lying bastards
