Indeed you are right...

apple's share price is spectacularly falling. the apple lovers have this guy that they hope has now disappeared off the org chart to work on the top secret new apple device... thats how desperate the apple lovers are for the next big thing.

I have an apple iphone. I like it. I got it free on a bill deal. I would not buy their stuff cos its over priced and ties you in a straight jacket.

they really are love/hate like marmite.

It was an amazing run. the ipod propelled them from ok your compeuter on the desk with all the stuff in the screen is nice to the huge thing, then all they did was milk it down. where the ipod now? great device lost in a sea of apple products? Kid love the thing cos they can get Fb on it for a cheap price but now my kids have smart phones and the ipods they got 2 years ago are kind of also rans. you can get a really good smart phone with goole andriod on it for 100 quid 200 max. ipods are dead.

mac book air is lovely, really lovely but god the price. can't be going and doing it.

I pad is really expensive but also nice. I can't help but think tablets and laptops will merge into one device in the next 5 years. tabelts are too limited. I watch football on my iphone. its fine!

apple are looking at wearable technology, a watch.... eh... i have my phone why would i want a device competing with rolex for premium custom? google the glasses... may be that apples thing.

TVs... samsung have it sewn up plus the margin is tiny.

in short apply are the next victim of corporate america... must beat projects, must grow grow grow... don't and you are punished harshly.

anyway.... you are right, where i used to work they gave the bean counter the operations manager position then put him as director of Hr as a pay off he was that bad... near ruined the place... american bean counters are all short termists... next 3 months, next quart. half year.. full year... don't invest, can i avoid.... bean counters should be kept in a closet and only allowed out for one meeting a month at most.

Let the engineers make great products... let the marketing guys **** up the channel and selling and set a high price... quids in.

The top gear (god i know) last episode where they had one example of every vehicle built in Britain on the mall showed the country still has innovators. I'd Love to see my company invest but the last time they whines so much about the money and i spent it all with a german company and installed it in the US. they whined about a 3 month payback to me this year... 3 months! WTF... why even bother eh?

price is what the seller wants to sell his wares at. quality is a subjective feeling a customer gets from a product... does it function as advertised, does it give more than expected, does it feel nice sort of stuff.

value is the equation is the customers mind where they look at an item and feel the price is justified by what they get.

So even though suarez is not an asset or property but a human being if i suspend that for an instant.......

55million + a history of biting, racial abuse and long bands plus law suits = no value to arsenal

If arsenal saw value at 55mil they would have paid it.

This comes form my companies training on financial matter where they explained how vital it was to "keep the brand up" by charging higher price and delivering more as if we lowered price we'd be competing with cheap tat from asia. High price plus "feeling of quality" = massive profit

Is it right or gospel? I haven't a clue i'm not a marketing asshole... but you can see so many western companies try to charge the high price... like apple. huge price, aura of quality (even if the dissatisfiers are huge, like battery life or locked to software prison) = huge profit

What every neutral has been saying. At last Liverpool fans are admitting this of Suarez. Despite a certain persistent Liverpool poster (clue: D D----o) trying to defend the indefensible...

Money/finance is the liquid (oil if you like) of business. Control of it is an important part of the operation of the organisation to facilitate the executive decisions. The organisation does not exist to satisfy the bean counters.

There never was a single opinion on the Evra incident. What Liverpool fans railed against was the injustice that was meated-out.

What the sweet **** are you on about? <yikes>

Will the Kop boo him if stays? Even if he makes a statement about giving his all this year?

Good question. I suppose it may depend upon what he considers to be an apology.

For me, a statement that says "whilst I am with the club, I will be trying my hardest to help the club succeed" would be sufficient - provided his actions matched the words.

He already said he would give his all for the shirt..... problem was it was in the same interview he was demanding to be traded and would take us to court. <ok>

For me the annoyance entirely with him is the fact that he acted the numpty on the pitch and we backed him to the hilt and then did what he did, had he just payed his football and then wanted a move I would not have any issue at all. The backing he got from Club and fans and then to throw it in their faces when it suits him, that's what irks me. As for booing our own at home games, we should leave that kind of thing to the chavs and spuds

He waited well into the window to see if Real or the like came knocking, when they didn't he belatedly tried to engineer a move with his agent.

Can't see it being wise to boo him, even though we are all thinking 'Suarez you're a ****'.

I also wouldn't be surprised to hear his song if he starts banging them in again, the fickle nature of the football fan eh?

merica.

It wouldn't surprise me but it would annoy me <ok>

Couldn't give a flying **** if football fans are fickle. If we're winning, Suarez has scored, and has kissed the badge and the crowd are singing his name while worshipping him then so be it. As long as we are winning I couldn't give one ****.

They already have in hybrids. You can get them from HP detachable Touchscreen laptops. It had to go that way, can you see someone working on spreadsheets on an ipad <laugh> it's not innovation as such, essentially the docking station concept has been adapted.

Things is there is no real competition between say Samsung and Apple as far as smart phones goes, Samsung is one of Apple's biggest customers and it would deal Apple a serious blow to see Samsung fail. Really it's just like the two party system in US voting, either way you are voting in the same people just as you are making Apple money buy buying Samsung smart phones.
