It's an Anglo/Italian/Brazilian conspiracy to ensure Uruguay do not win the World Cup in Brazil again
Just read FIFA's statement, by the looks of things he can't move clubs this summer. But people are saying he can? The statement suggests he can't do anything administrative involving football, surely that covers transfers? And wouldn't having a medical be going against the football ban too?
Just because it is a 'world first' does not give FIFA an excuse to go soft on the punishment. Should've been 12 month ban minimum.
The Uruguayans have tried justifying the 'bite' as a bit like a bad tackle? Or that's how they see biting in Uruguay. You don't see Cavani biting people!
FIFA should simply ban him from all football for life. End of problem. Unless he wears a HANNIBAL LECTER MASK THAT IS FOR GAMES.
the uruguayan fa is alleging that fifa has demeaned the manly uruguayan pastime of biting like a little girl. the uruguayan association of little girls is claiming that the uruguayan fa is a bunch of sexist dinosaurs.
It was in 2 of my morning newspapers today. But agree it is funny. and Barcelona. I think that he will be sold at the first opportunity that Liverpool get now. Enough is enough in all seriousness. Cash plus Alexis Sanchez and Liverpool are ok without Sanchez. No player no matter how good he is is worth all the damage that he causes. FIFA rule the world now. I would guess that Liverpool should be able to stop paying his wages during the ban. If not then Suarez should donate it(during the ban) to a local charities and/or be made to do so.
We play Liverpool away on the preliminary date of 25th October, but with a Europa League fixture on the 23rd October the game will be moved to the Sunday 26th October, Suarez's return date. Ill hazard a guess and say we will be on Sky that day.
Should have been 6 months in total, or 4 month league ban. 2 months of the ban is effectively wasted.
If it does work out that way, then you can imagine the headlines in the Sunday Papers " Is a Hull City player on the menu for Sunday Lunch"
Was annoyed that Liverpool fans were taking it well, til i stumbled across this goldmine http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=314821.80 Its funny how deluded some of them are. Dotted around are some sane ones though.
the strongest part of the ban is FIFAs Ban on Suarez entering ANY stadium , including for training purposes until the end of the Ban . He could well be back for the Tigers game as in the list of nine games it doesn't include the 3rd round Carling Cup game
