The Uruguayans' reaction is unbelievable. They think it's all a big European plot. I can't understand their mentality at all. After beating England, Suarez was quoted saying "People in England have laughed about my attitude, but I would love to see what they are saying now." I know he's got a screw loose but what the ****? Is he really under the impression it's his ability that's in question? Not the fact he'd (at that point) bitten two people, become notorious for cheating and been done for racism? Does he think that would change because he performed well in a match against England? The guy is making a living in this country but seems to be spiteful and even resentful towards us. I'd deport the ****.
I think he's ripe to be radicalised by Islamic fundamentalists myself. If he gets a ban, expect to see him fighting on the streets of Baghdad in an ISIS shirt.
He does seem the type, with his hatred of the establishment and 'the man', despite the fact it's made him rich and famous. Is it a rule that all South Americans have to be mental? Like all African teams have to dance when they score?
The Argentines are the same, they unfurled that banner which called for the Falklands to become part of Argentina shortly before the World Cup. I don't see them complaining when they are playing in this country and accepting their huge wages, f**king hypocrites.
I saw that. Hope he gets proper treatment too as there's no point otherwise will just carrying on biting or whatever foul behaviour he gets up to
It's not very clear yet, is that nine international matches and a four month ban from all football? Putting him out of the World Cup.
The least we can do is boo him whenever he touches the ball next season, he's a **** and he needs to be treated like one.
The 4 months only put him out until October, not enough at all. Of those 4 months, 2 of them have nearly no competitive football in them.
It's still not enough, would you be allowed to return to work after biting an employee for a third time?
It starts for the Uruguay vs Columbia match & continues until October, when we play them. It's 9 international matches & a stadium ban. Effectively he's on his way home.
As I read it on the BBC site, he's not eligible for the next nine International matches (so that could be a year), and also he can't play for anyone for the next four months.
