It's tough to call Newcastle are about as far as a manager can take them with the current backing Many managers quote the phrase "I've taken the club as far as I can" I don't see Newcastle pushing into the top 6 or 7 anytime soon , though that is where their next level is As for city I think we can push on as far as where Newcastle are over the next couple of years
Regularly selling their best players and not reinvesting. Renaming the stadium. Never communicating directly with fans and putting a series of oafs and buffoons in charge at boardroom level. Making the club a total laughing stock by appointing Jokin' Ear as manager. Renaming Shearer's Bar. Appointing Dennis Wise as Director of football. Being a cockney. That's off the top of my head. I'm listening to mass Geordie wingeing every day of my life. It's a wonder I'm still sane. Anyway me and Mr Flibble are just going to ensure that Mrs Shackleton has her two hours without oxygen. That'll teach her to be a breadbasket.
i actually heard a conversation yesterday while having a cig on lunch break at the trinity church seating place, two blokes bloke 1: i fkin hate hull city bloke 2: why? 1: because there in our stadium 2: how is it your stadium? 1: well look who owns fc.. 2: what? 1: pearson owns fc.. and he got the stadium for hull city, now hes at fc, they should **** off i laughed my arse off, i shoulda shouted what a ****, but probably not a good idea
I think you'll find that he pissed P45dew off massively when he decided, in his ultimate wisdom, to bring in the footballing genius that is Joe Kinnear, great move that was, and I'm sure Brucey would have noticed
Whatever feelings some of the fans have about the Allams, Steve Bruce seems to have a fantastic working relationship with them, plus they are backing him to the hilt. Hull City is just as good for Steve Bruce as Steve Bruce is for Hull City. His stock was low after the Sunderland debacle, but let's be honest, Paul Daniels couldn't sort out that club. I think he's better off staying here and seeing if he can't tick off some more career firsts (FA Cup final last season, European football this).
Steve Bruce will stay as long as the Allam family are in control. There is an underlying reason for this SB has found the Holy Grail in football management, owners who hang on to every word of his. No matter what anyone else say's the relationship isn't as close as we all imagine. SB has a greater level of management input than he will get at any PL club. He is the one the owners look to and his word is gospel, for the moment. SB has delivered and more, whilst that is the case he has the total confidence of the Allam family.
Err that was before Ashley was the owner. Yes he would like to manage them but not in their present state with that owner.
