Hope Seedorf is doing the World Cup with the BBC again.

Wilkes is a twat.

To be fair Davids did just punch him in the face.

Wilkes thinking he's in the Champions League final.

What an embarrassing ****.

I wasn't going to watch this, due to a similar mindset about it to CeeGee, but, I actually enjoyed it. Shows how hard it is running round a pitch that size if you're not as fit as a footballer.

The quote above are the reason Davids was my MOTM, followed by Seedorf tbh. Staam was still good, but Davids was still the committed pitbull he always was, and I was hoping he was going to lay Wilkes out.

AKCJ I think you're close, but I think Wilkes actually thinks he is good enough for the Champions League and believes he's an actual footballer who was overlooked.

Theakston shouldn't be allowed near a pitch ever again.

I think Wilkes was at Everton as a teenager.

Does anyone know what he's famous for? I remember him presenting You've Been Framed about 10 years ago, but he got binned for Harry Hill. Which says it all.

He's mainly famous for being Robbie Williams mate(he was on tour with him) and he mainly does musical theatre now, apparently.

In short, he was a failed footballer, then a failed TV presenter and now he's on stage.

Load of celebrity pricks telling people who earn in a year what they do in a week to donate while they sit on their millions, pisses me right off.

I wonder if I get a famous mate they'll let me have a kick about at Old Trafford with a few legends :D

Been ruined a bit by Seedorf, pointless having someone that much better than everyone else on

Whilst on the topic, he's been sacked by Milan today. Bit unlucky, he quit playing for the job and then over his tenure they'd have been 3rd in the table if it was replicatd all season. Youth team boss Pippo Inzaghi has been appointed.

I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than watch that load of old ****e.

Same old bum chums of Williams pretending to do something for charity so they can play at Old Traffird or wherever it is every year.

I've never heard of half of 'em.

Walk from Lands End to John O Groats you set of pretentious ****s and I might stick my hand in my pocket.

After all this is for charity isn't it and not a w**k fest for Williams and his arse wipe mates?

Talking of which has anyone who's watching this donated owt?

I probably know the answer to that one.

100% agree. These ****ing things sicken me and it's all a ruse to have a comeback when they get any ****: "oh i do a lot for charity". Do you **** - how is running around in front of a capacity crowd playing at one of the world's most historic stadia "doing a lot"?. The worst one ever was Gary ****ing Barlow demanding viewers hand over their cash to CIN whilst that greedy **** paid ****ing minimal percent income tax through a dispicable scheme and he knew EXACTLY what he was doing. He has the gall to ask for people to pay £10 whilst he personally fleeced £11m THAT HE OWED.

I absolutely ****ing despise him.

You need to chill out, its all a bit of fun, both for those playing and for those that enjoy watching, just so you know last night raised £4.2 million for Unicef, ****ing bastards.

Surely you see there is a dispicable irony in what Gary Barlow did on CIN?

And why didnt you say something like this to Carmine?

Have you ever thought that Gary Barlow was asked to do the CIN thing? You know because people donate when celebs ask them more than if I just turned up. People watch the program because celebrities are the attraction to the program. These charities get more promotion from things like this than they would otherwise.

Not saying what he did was even remotely acceptable but its about getting worldwide exposure. Seems to be working since they raised £4 million quid in one night.

Just chill out, enjoy the entertainment.

I agree with you on the Barlow thing, but that's a completely different issue to taking offence at a group of celebrities raising millions for charity by having a kick around.

Sorry, didn't read Carmine's post, I wasn't intentionally picking on just you.

I know Jack Whitehall donated a grand for every minute he was on the pitch.

No idea how long he was on the pitch though.

Of course he was asked. The BBC at the time, i assume, didnt know he was a disguting tax avoider. Are you saying he's incapable of thinking "hang on, I personally fleeced the UK economy and thousands of worthy causes of £11m through sheer greed, perhaps it's not the best idea to go on telly and demand that hard-up people donate a tenner".

What's your point?

What's yours, Gary Barlow has **** all to do with Soccer Aid?

Well, its hardly demanding is it? I'd say i'd prefer him to give the 11million back but thats not happening is it. May as well represent the charity. Who knows how many people tuned in and donated because Gary Barlow was going to be on it? I doubt the kids who got the money from CIN cared where it came from.

If he'd have said no people would've been on his back just as much if not more!

So Barlow had fleeced the UK economy out of 11m.

So it would be even worse if he didn't do the charity thing surely? Surely he has helped a charity, i don't give two monkeys if he fleeced the Government of 50m, he was asked to help a charity out and he did. If it helped raise more money for charity with him been on it, then i want him to be on it as the whole point of the event is to raise money for charity.

Came on at the start of the second half, got taken off about 5 minutes from the end, fair play to the lad, that's a decent donation.

I think a more appropriate criticism would be Terry Wogan who was paid around £10,000 for presenting children in need. That is making a personal gain from a charitable cause and is disgusting.

Barlow did a twatish thing in avoiding tax and a good thing in helping out a charity, neither are connected nor cancel each other out, in fact they are completely unrelated.
