I would think that was just to give the popular answer. Jake would have been a very popular player while here. Snoddy seemed quite popular too.

Snodgrass was preposterously overrated when he was here. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, for an attacking midfielder he contributed ridiculously little from open play.

I'd suggest more a convenient answer. Who are they going to name - 2 players currently at the club? Jake was undoubtedly very popular, I don't think any club would ever have as captain someone universally disliked by his team mates.
