there seemed plenty in East stand that were prepared to give him the polite round of applause just before KO, and he totally blanked them - sulky greedy white shyte tosspot.

South west corner still seemed desperate to applaud him every time he took a corner - by his 4th corner it was becoming embarrassing.

This is incorrect. There was both polite applause and booing from southwest corner. Personally, I was was steadfast in my indifference.

It's good to take a committed stance to something isn't it ;)

I was in North, but even from there the SW corner seemed a mixture of clapping and booing (it was very consistent with giving him **** round me)

<laugh>
Now he's just an opposing player. He was virtually non-existent as a presence in the game, so meh.

<whistle>
He was
When I was taken off I was torn really
One part glad that he wasn't going to score in the inevitable 'return of an ex player way, but one part disappointed as he was so poor I wanted him to stay on
Really didn't look up for it

As you say he's just an opposing player now (although we should take any chance, within reason!, to put opposition players off their game)

Thanks to Robert Snodgrass;
When fit he played his arse off for Hull City and this season he was our stand-out player and match winner.
Without Snodgrass we would already be down, so thanks to him for being a good servant to our club.

It's a shame he requested a transfer in the end, but what he did for us outweighs that and I wish him well in the future.

On the HDM site article, there is a 'selfie' taken by the star-struck self-publicist of him with the Man Utd bench behind. Wonder how long he's been a City fan?
Perhaps he's the partner of that lass who flashed her minge at a bemused Dirk Kuyt on the LFC bench a few years back as she tried to get his autograph?

According to the article he's been going to City since he was 13 and had a season ticket for ten years

There is no sentiment in football. If your agent suggests you can earn more playing for another club, then any player is going to take it, eg Snodgrass
There are no one club man players anymore, unless its for one of the really big clubs, but even then these players are tending to move on.
Can anyone name a one club man City player in the past 20 years.

Hmmm that's just a bit longer than the time we've been in the PL....
I don't know him by the way, so no idea about him
But I never bothered with a season ticket prior to the KC. There was no need. I mainly stood in Kempton (brief flings elsewhere) and so just paid on a match by match basis. Certainly when I started going it was with pocket money so I couldn't have afforded one anyway.
Only reason I did at KC was to make sure you could sit with mates due to stupid all seater stadium bollocks

Like I say I'm not defending him, I've no idea who he is, I just answered the question about how long he'd been going with info from the article
