Think you might be giving credit to Everton they havent earned. Cant see anyway he comes back here after this. I would block Evertons calls personally - persona non gtatis.
If they are doing it to make us sell Stewart to them, with Simms as part ex, I hope we have enough balls to add a few million to the fee.
Everton and Gers have had weeks to plan a lift on Stewart, this one is not fact but came from someone in the know, on Wednesday we offered him a far improved offer, with proper add on's, so let's see if this breaks over the next week.

It's a way of getting Simms as a px back to us, I hope we don't fall into the trap for 8 or 9 million

Aye a bit soft, sometimes not the best first touch. But still 7 goals in 17 games in a tough league, not bad at all for an inexperienced 21 year old. Someone worth developing imo.
I wonder what they're expecting of him. If they're expecting a big physical lad who will bully defenders they'll be disappointed. He can be that player but he needs time and coaching to get there.
Mebees I'm being a bit harsh - I just found the lad infuriating to watch at times.
I've thought the same especially when his first touch pings off him. His goal record and physical attributes are canny though if he was given time to develop. Can't see that happening in the prem.
Agreed - he'll be a forgotten man at Everton unless they've had an offer for him.
