Well Obrien hasn't scored in same amounts. Stewart is new to league to could improve and do well. I think if we're banking on AOL and/or grigg this season were ****ed. Still doesn't mean skp wasn't wrong though.
SKP, for me is still a hero... but it seems he wants to be involved with Sunderland, but isn't... if he wants to involved in the future he needs to mind what he says!

He gets paid to talk about SAFC but as far as I can see he rarely spends anytime doing any research or watching the team. Proved it with his comments about the age of the owner and it being lucky for us Donald was staying on to look after him with his knowledge.
Now we have a comment about being concerned about strikers when I don't think any fan is concerned about what we have going on striker wise, Stewart looks promising yeah we would hope to add another but no one is crying out for a recognised striker at this level! I love SKP, and although I disagree with a lot he says, I respect that he still cares enough about us to have an opinion.

Couldn’t sign Sanderson as he was still under contract and wolves didn’t want to sell, wyke was offered another contract but wanted to go to the mighty Wigan instead. Flanagan is a good squad player, we needed centre halves last season and it’ll be his job to cover for injuries. Burge is alright for this league with a decent defence in front of him and not like the round pegs last year. Patterson is an able replacement if needed and we’re stronger than last season. Marco is right we will win the league

exactly, he doesn't put enough time into the job to be an expert on SAFC. He needs to do some homework before he comments on us, or risk becoming another media gobshite like Mick Quinn up the road.
