He’s said nowt wrong there. If we don’t go up we may we’ll lose some of our better players, Stewart being the main one he’s superb.
It read as a great negative story which will encourage and foster the doom and gloom merchants everywhere.

An old expression of humping their mutton to all and sundry seems to come to mind with KP and SAFC , who really cares what a previous players opinion is as he was quite happy at SAFC until better offers came in and he was off like a shot - mercenary seems to spring to mind or am I being unkind !

iirc, there were a few stories circulating that something not football related but to do with a team mate was going on behind the scenes...i know what the stories were but it was never actually confirmed so that may well have helped his 'choice'.

I still don’t think he’s said owt wrong mate, I doubt a few words by him could put a downer on the squad. As you say we all know it can happen but he gets asked for an opinion and gives his. Even if it is a lazy answer.

I've no idea why anyone would pay him to say that injuries aren't helpful or losing isn't good.
He was lauded as a hero when playing here , that is history now and as far as I am concerned he is making far too many comments to too many publications living off his links to SAFC . I am losing all respect for him as a consequence- keep your nose out and leave the running of the club to our owner and existing management team , time to move on Kevin .
Biggest disappointment with all this from Phillip's is he clearly has very little interest in us anymore so is never clued up on what is happening. Then along comes a publication who will pay him for his opinion on the club. He takes the money does no research and spouts opinions that are completely ridiculous to anyone who knows the club, like the time he said KLD was lucky that Donald was staying in to be a mentor as he was too young.
Exactly, he's starting to erode the respect and admiration I hold of him, a few sound bites on a massive change, e.g. the change in ownership is fair enough but not the constant day to day running of the club, otherwise that's an agenda against our club. Time to shut up Kevin.
Monty, Hurley, Rowell, Bridges, Quinn, etc were all heroes who smiled for photos, signed autographs and never pulled the club down even in our darkest days.
Marco was a big hero of mine who talked his way out of my affection.
Phillips is heading that way.
