The lucky 10,000 will be proper hardcore supporters, they will be 100% behind us until the last minute. We have a percentage of “fair weather” supporters who I find are normally negative. My brother in law is one of them, rarely turns up unless it’s a Derby or important match, boils my piss coz I normally have to sit with the twisty git. From the kick off it’s always “ he’s ****e, shoot man, schoolboy defending, and his favourite is couldn’t hit a barn door “
By the time the match is finished I’m ready to strangle him and can’t understand why he goes.

I raise you...

“As much as the Mackems do not want to hear it, a few Championship clubs will be sniffing around.

“It is just natural for a striker that has scored as many goals as he has. There will always be interest in a striker that has scored that amount of goals. I can speak from experience because that first season, in which I scored 35 goals, there was interest in myself.

“I would be amazed if Charlie even thought about leaving Sunderland if they got into the Championship.

“The supporters should be back in the Stadium of Light and at no other club will you be playing in front of 35,000 fans. I certainly would not be looking to move on.
I ,for one, am not one bit concerned if Wyke does move. Not bothered in the slightest. One dimensional focal point has cost us dearly these past three season having to rely on this fella. In fact, it will make the management look around at other options to let us score more goals from other positionss that will be recruited and not rely on one player who is hot or cold.

To be honest it sounds like whoever was conducting that interview was fishing and leading the questions so he could get that response.

The first quote was a bit dismissive

It will have a slight bearing,” Phillips told Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs.

Following stuff looks like Mr Childs was doing a bit of **** stirring to get the responses he did. The initial question and dismissive response has obviously been followed up with the intent of **** stirring.

Phillips should know better though.

Does he really get paid for this shyte <doh>

“Phillips insists Sunderland should target left back O’Donnell as he would be a good signing on and off the pitch.

Of course they have Luke O’Nien but it looks like he’ll be playing centre-half again this season."
O'donnell is not the type of signing I'd like. Hopefully we're looking at younger players with pace

He's persistent like, wish he'd just give it a rest
