Just seen footage of some old sports awards on bbc1 with Sir Bobby getting the lifetime achievement.
What an icon and what great memories.

Good Evening ACS.
Missed it, half watching the Arsenal match.
You forget how short a time he had with us, too short at that, but a shining light all the same.
Sadly missed.

Indeed mate, and of course a good evening to you.
If he had come to us after the World Cup, who knows where we would be now.
We're still fortunate that we had the time we did.
I smile so much when I recall Shola's comment about Bobby calling him Carl Cort all the time... Typical Bobby. :)

Was it Barcelona he went too after the World Cup.
As you say very fortunate to have had him for the time we did.
You forget about the likes of Carl Cort....

You well.

Aye mate canny.
Had to look up the stats as I remembered Portugal being at the fore:

1968 Fulham
1969–1982 Ipswich Town
1982–1990 England
1990–1992 PSV Eindhoven
1992–1994 Sporting Lisbon
1994–1996 FC Porto
1996–1997 FC Barcelona
1998–1999 PSV Eindhoven
1999–2004 Newcastle United

What a list of names eh?

Never once heard a fan of any team say a bad thing about him. I remember after he died, going to SJP and seeing Barcelona shirts with Spanish tributes on, shirts from Ipswich, Celtic, even SAFC, as well as hundreds of ours.

Fab memories.

Right, the last three times I popped into the bar quickly on match day we've won - couldn't make it on Wednesday and we lost. So here I am!

<party>

HTL!

And we won!!!

Keep it up fella!!!!

You do realise that failing to do this again will result in punishment. A sexy and terrifying punishment.

Pop back next Saturday please.

Never mind next Saturday, pop back every match day.

Never fear, Obi's here! And iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit's matchdayyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

JPF, can I please still have the punishment anyway? :)

I'm sick of Christmas already, the same thing happens every year. I work my fingers to the bone to be able to buy expensive presents for the kids and that fat bastard with the beard gets all the credit.

Still..........it's my fault for marrying her.
