Our stats in the games Hayden has played in are pretty good W/8 D/1 L/4 and they include the 6-0 Charlton game, 3-0 Burnley, 3-0 Boro, he was definitely very popular on here after our run in January.
Another lad we are most definitely missing who was involved about the time of Hayden is big Harry, I'd love to see these two back in, Maguire though you can't really see Bruce dropping any of his favourites to accomodate him. I'd go Davies/Maguire which also coincided with that good run, what a boost to have somebody like Dawson ready to slot in too.Our stats in the games Hayden has played in are pretty good W/8 D/1 L/4 and they include the 6-0 Charlton game, 3-0 Burnley, 3-0 Boro, he was definitely very popular on here after our run in January.

I also agree with the OP.
Our players seem to have forgotten a lot of the basic skills and tactics of playing football and the blame has rest with our coaches.
It makes you wonder exactly what Phelan and co. do during training sessions, because like others have said, the deficiencies are glaring and are never addressed.
I suspect there is just a lazy assumption by the coaches that the players know what they're doing so all they have to do is keep them fit.
Its not an argument but if you, me or anyone else posts bollocks you get pulled up for it.Beginning of the year, if you are looking for another argument you won't get one, it's about opinions and mine is as valid as yours
He came on in the 87 and 89 minutes against Burnley and Boro. So meaningless stats. Our stats in the games Hayden has played in are pretty good W/8 D/1 L/4 and they include the 6-0 Charlton game, 3-0 Burnley, 3-0 Boro, he was definitely very popular on here after our run in January.

I didn't realise they were that late on, still, he did play 90 minutes in our biggest win of the season. As i said he's only played 6 or 7 league games from the start.I didn't realise they were that late on, still, he did play 90 minutes in our biggest win of the season.

Where did you get the stats for Hayden? Can you put up Tom's cos I seem to think we lose a lot when he plays. Brum been a case in point.
The **** ****.W/13 D/6 L/8

The **** ****.
Some of those are sub appearances at the end though. Though he did **** our run up against Derby after Meyler got injured.
Started against Brum t'other week. We lost.15 starts, 12 sub appearances and most of the starts were last year.

Yep hooked after 60 against Brighton. Its a tragedy he isnt living up to his potential. Tom plays anything like this season and we'd have another 15 points. What a waste.Aye, Birmingham, Brighton and Blackburn were the only league games he's started this year.

And Borough. He obviously only starts against teams that begin with B, so he's in luck, we still have to play Brentford, Bolton and Bristol.![]()
I'm worried about them. They've come from nowhere. And Borough.
I reckon most would say the sameDawson is arguably our best player, I wouldn't drop him for anyone, ever.
