I'm not, as I've said I'm not bothered what people think, it's their business.

But it's laughable that people can still doubt it after a new company has been lodged at Companies House, in the name of the buyers, with the SOL as the company address.

I'm not trying to convince people.

I saw absolute proof from Fuhrman, first hand, and posted it on here 3 weeks ago.

I’ve no doubts it’s happening, but I do kind of understand, given the history of the disaster at the club, people being restless waiting on confirmation of something that should change the landscape of the club forever.

For me, I’d rather it took as long as it needs, everything is done right, the new owners are eyes open and aware of every nook, cranny, penny and debit on the clubs financial sheet.

We are talking about businessmen here who have known nothing but financial and commercial success, it makes sense that they won’t be rushing it through.

The window is closed for another 2 and a half months anyway, they could have all the money in the world and couldn’t do **** till January.

I’m serene about it. They’ve been at the games, they’ve not denied (which of course they would at their level), and they’ve set up a company ready for all the legalities.

It’s wonderful for the club.

I don't think I've seen anyone on here saying that its not happening. We must have all seen the pictures of the blokes at the ground and read the articles in the newspapers. As has been said, it doesn't have the feel of the various Newcastle 'takeovers'.

I'm utterly convinced that a lot of the speculation surrounding it is wide of the mark though.

A lot of the speculation is harmless though isn't it ...
... this is a chat forum where people chat.

I'd happily put money on anything I've said as fact panning out.

Proposals such as extending the stadium may be wishes, from the new owners, that don't happen for years. They just want to examine the possibilities.

I'm not being touchy in the slightest.

I just sense a reluctance to look on the bright side from some people.

I suspect that, if this was Newcastle, some of us would be more inclined to believe it, as happened with their Sheikh.
Who's not looking on the bright side? All I've seen is people say that there's no concrete evidence as to how far along the process is.

I've seen plenty of it, you haven't seen any.

I'll leave it there as I can't be bothered to go back and single people out.

I'm not trying to push anyone into being excited or even optimistic.

Equally no one should be urging caution, it's all about personal opinion.

I've been fishing for updates but not getting many bites. The friend of SD or CM, can't say which, has told him he's saying nothing except that heads are about to roll throughout the club. It appears it's just a holiday camp with people doing a half assed job. I think it'll be a totally different club when the Americans get their people installed. I suspect the days of Charlie, pint in hand down the Colliery Tavern, may be numbered. It worked last season but it looks a bit amateurish now.

No one seemed to talk to him at the Oxford match in the Tavern

Last season was a novelty mate, I doubt the Americans would find it too professional. If he stayed they'd want him at the club bringing in corporate money not on the piss with the lads. IMO they'll bring in someone who lives in the area and won't just pop up now and again.

He was just trying to bond with the fans - Tavern aint his scene anyway...
