I've had enough now.

He blew umpteen leads last season including two at Wembley.

Peterborough was a disgrace, last night was awful and we've won a third of the last 30 games.

Grigg has only failed to score, at this level, with us.

I'm starting to wonder if McGeady is unbalancing the team and Ross's tactics tbh.

I've thought the same about Mcgeady. He's head and shoulders our best player technically. The problem is he slows up every attack. 9 times out of 10 his first touch is to check back away from the defender as he ain't got the pace to take the ball in and go with it. I prefer to think the problem is in the fact that there is no pace around him so no options for a quick give and go or a first time through ball.

While I think he's not best suited for the players around him I still don't think we can drop him. He's the 1 player in our side who can win a game from a moment of quality. I wouldnt mind swapping him and Gooch wings as i think Gooch is better off cutting inside from the left and Mcgeady is good enough on either foot to go either way so wouldn't really affect him at all.

Agree 100%. For all I agree that he can slow play, he’s our only matchwinner.

We need more McGeadys, not less.

All done bar the shouting it would appear. Just read this....

I’ve heard a lot of people saying the takeover/investment is not going to happen or the mags saying it’s fell through and I’ve seen the frustration of people so here it is ok,
THE DEAL IS DONE
Now I know what people are going to say where is the official confirmation well we have had that for two days now legally and officially on the companies house web site oh the journalist will say it’s not confirmed ect but FACT is all we are waiting for is the press conference and I challenge any journalist or person to prove me wrong with facts, my proof is on a government website which shows that Glenn Robert Fuhrman, John Cartwright Phelan, Robert Michael Platek are directors and shareholders of Sunderland football club it also shows that one active person with significant control is FPP Sunderland Llc ( which means they have 75% or more of share ownership this is indisputable fact . I simply say stop panicking we are only waiting for a press conference it’s done and I challenge anyone to prove the facts I have put above wrong and that includes journalists who basically just want there day of a exclusive.

I'm confident the intent is there but setting up the company doesn't mean very much. Anyone can set up a private limited company for less than £15. You don't even have to start trading. I had to set up my own company to work as an IT contracter 14 years ago, it takes less than 24 hours to do this and virtually 0 effort. That said you have to prove who you are so these guys will have a have a legal obligation to perform as company officials if it ever gets off the ground. Also, the nature of the business is "activities of other holding companies" so its not a football club but maybe a means to avoid falling foul of FFP? Wonder what FPP stands for? Just the initials of the 3 officials?

Yeah, its just Fuhrmann, Platek, Phelan. None of them are listed are listed as having anything to do with SAFC on the SAFC page on the companies house website. Yet.

That's absolute nonsense.

Do you really believe these people have nothing better to do ...

... dear me <doh>

It's as if you want this all to be fake.

It's not nonsense it is fact... registering a company is no guarantee that trading is about to start.

Of course I don't want it to be fake, I hope it happens and I believe it will, all I am saying is that setting up a company is potentially no more than a statement of intent and until an official annoucement is made there is no guarantee that a deal has been done. Again I believe it will happen but the pragmatist in me won't get carried away just yet, there have been so many false dawns.

How can it be fake, its impossible.

No one's asking you to get carried away, that's your choice.

The fact they have been to the club...spoke to Ross (he confirms this himself) this company set up to Take over SAFC and Donald also confirming the deal (although he seems to have disappeared) This deal WILL happen, Patiences is a virtue guys.

I think alot of people are apprehensive because of the fact that the town takeover felt genuine.

I guess so, but no 2 deals are the same. That said I live in Abu Dhabi and the talk at the time was all about the Mags takeover...then absolutely nothing. Word is now, that so called Sheikh simply didn't have the cash...These guys have proven funds.

Don't get hard on those who are starting to worry.

We have had so little to really cheer about, in terms of the long term success of SAFC, over the years that having this golden hope dangled in front of you, but just out of reach is, to say the least, frustrating.

I know that every thing is inching along at it's own slow pace and that there is too much evidence for this to be another N/C type joke takeover, but until it's publicly confirmed, those nagging doubts are going to be in the back of most of our minds.

Patience may well be a virtue, but it can also be dammed hard work.

I'm not, as I've said I'm not bothered what people think, it's their business.

But it's laughable that people can still doubt it after a new company has been lodged at Companies House, in the name of the buyers, with the SOL as the company address.

I'm not trying to convince people.

I saw absolute proof from Fuhrman, first hand, and posted it on here 3 weeks ago.

The Newcastle so called Sheikh situation was entirely different. It was just a ruse to get Dell to up their offer. Ask yourself, who paid the skank 'reporter' in Abu Dhabi who 'broke the news'.

Dell were in for the Mags twice before they bought us. They were at the Spurs - Newcastle game which they'd previously arranged. As it happens they still went as a reccy as they want a similar sized stadium for Sunderland.
