Not forgetting that they've now changed the rules so these "billionaires playthngs" can't happen any more - they have their big clubs and god forbid anyone else wants to break into that!

....and he agrees to name a stand after Jim Montgomery.....just so the headlines could read, "The Man From Del-monty, says, YES !"

Interesting news that Donald has stepped away from his other business interests today.

Full time chairman under new regime?

That would make a lot of sense. Are him and Methven still supposed to be staying on to run the club like they would have if Campbell had taken over? I can't remember what was said about that.

Has he flogged his insurance company? Could that be him raising extra funds to invest in the club? It might just be that he's decided to cash in on it.

As far as I can tell the Dell deal is still rumbling on to a conclusion (one way or another)

    Saw this on FB....

Stewart Donald’s sold his own company, Bridle Insurance, to be 100% fully commited with the role of Sunderland’s chairman. The ‘takeover’ from MSD will be completed by this Friday, if reports are legit. Things are looking very healthy for SAFC.

My info is that 2 jets are arriving from NY tomorrow and leaving on Saturday.

The EFL lawyers have OKd the deal and its all done.

Fuhrman's mate told me that he'll be attending games.

The owners will find ways to put in money.

    That's about all for now.

Being a Sunderland fan is no easy ride, we have more ups and downs than a Bride's Nightie...if this comes off her nightie is definitely up and the groom is balls deep.

I've been wondering as everything seems to have gone quiet.

HOWEVER, I for one won't hold you to the day.

In my very limited experience of corporate legalities, nothing is straightforward and schedules are only ever optimistic asperations.
