I did think before I typed on here, I thought about how I would be feeling if I was Tees and had to keep putting up with this big mouth. It isn't the first time Tees has had to put up with this lad, why doesn't/shouldn't he have the right to defend himself and fight back against somebody trying to intimidate him? If he doesn't do something this lad will start to take a liberty, that's why I feel Tees is best nipping it in the bud now and to have it out with this lad.

Sorry, and I do not intend to be a dick here, but he has a young family to look after and if this 7 fingered smoggy idiot is causing him grief then for their sake he needs to park it to one side or let him know in no uncertain times through other means that his behaviour cannot continue. Ok fine. I am banging my head against a brick wall here and I am not going to change your opinion on this which is fair enough. That wasn't my intention anyway. There is a difference between telling someone and actually forcefully telling someone. You do not need to throw a punch to show you are in charge of a situation and take someone down. The way you walk, talk and behave around these people will leave a longer lasting impression than a whack. If I wind someone up and they whack me, I am just going to think I have gotten to them even more. Our 7 fingered friend is clearly a real world troll.

Look, I guess we all have different ways of handling matters and it comes through life experiences. While I may be prepared to concede there is no one right way, there is definitely a wrong way. Anything that comprimises you personally after the action you take is clearly wrong.

It is ridiculous. The fact that others were seemingly egging him on because of their own past or insecurities baffled me even more. He has a family for ****s sake. I wish people would think before typing on here. Violence only begets more violence. It would escalate to a point where it would end very badly for someone. And I could hazard a guess as to who.

People clearly think very differently to you and I mate.

If I'm honest I think Tees probably wanted to be encouraged. I think in some way that's why he came on and posted. Was probably looking for reassurance that kicking the lads head in was a good idea.

You need to remember everyone is different as is the world they live in. What's right for one person isn't right for another. What I'm saying is If Tees doesn't sort this quietly and calculated something will kick off in front of his or the other blokes family, this is what we're trying to avoid. Your advice is basically letting the lad stew until he loses control and sees red regardless of the situation. It's **** advice because if that happened he'd lose his family and his freedom. He doesn't have the temperament you expect him to have to carry out your advice. It's great advice for someone like you, not for Tees as he has a different temperament entirely. What you're doing is asking a bottle of coke with mentos in it not to make a mess. It aint going to happen, the pressure will continue to build till eventually it explodes. It's easy to say just ignore him when he can't because of his temperament. It's ineffective advice. This will eat away at tees until he does something he regrets, this is what your advice will lead to.

Revenge is a dish best served cold imo, but some people like yourself would let the dish go stale, nowt wrong with that as that's the way your temperament is, you're lucky mate, someone like Tees can't let it cool. I love the fire in his belly but I bet he'd be the first to admit it carries it's problems, advice telling him to be somebody he's not just isn't going to work. Tees will have the **** sooner of later, it WILL happen. When it does it would be better to be calculated and controlled, not reckless and dangerous which is what happens if he lets it stew too long.

Knowingly doing something that could make them in any way worse off is reckless and irresponsible. Sorry I'd it seems harsh but I'd want to be told the same thing.

I realise footie forums isn't the place for liberal pacifism but I think it's best that both sides are argued for.

I love a fight, threw someone off a boat/pub into the Thames in Lambeth a couple of years ago. 18 months ago I spent 8 hours in A&E sat next to the lad I'd scrapped with, our faces were both ****ed. It's all fun and games while you're young and have no responsibility. Wouldn't do it now because of the missus. She's more important than some feeling of hurt pride.

I never used to be. When I was a teenager, I was just like Tees. I'd square up to anyone and I'd fancy my chances. I just changed my mentality though as I aged. It wasn't easy and I meet up with old school friends who say I am completely different now to before. That fire and want to knock someones block off at a moments notice is still there. A leopard never really changes its spots. However you can camouflage them. I take my rage now and channel it into my work. Have done ever since I moved 300 miles away for Uni (10 years ago!!)
