Actually drinking one of the bottles as I'm watching the Munich/Barca game..It is called Kolsch Klone and it is bloody lovely..

Cologne beers are amongst the best in the world mate. For it to be a Kolsch there's ridiculously strict regulations about what can be put into it... Only 4 ingredients I believe. Water, Hops, Malt and Barley maybe.

They don't pump it full of the ****e that we do.

Any Kolsch is a brilliant beer and Cologne is well worth a visit for the pubs.

It's actually brewed by the Darwin Brewery in Sunderland mate...I managed to get a couple of boxes of complimentary bottles via work..Proper good real ale quality..

Klone I guess is a pun on clone then... I need to have a look into this. If it's an English Kolsch style beer I need to try it.

Either that or they need reporting to trading standards and possibly done for using a trademark.

<yikes>

We were given these straight from the brewery before being labelled properly..I'm going by a white sticker label with the name of the beer and date it was actually brewed..

well that was a long read. still nee idea what the outcome was...

i would have been unable to offer any kind of sensible advise on this subject anyway.
