Spoons though soulless has really ramped up its selection, spotted the uptrend in craft beer quite early. Fair play to them. When I lived in Brussels you'd get laughed at for ordering a stella, they only used to sell it n Irish bars for tourists and EU workers. They all drank Maes and Jupiler then stuff like kriek, bush and duvel.
Luckily my Weatherspoons has a beer garden but I know many don't. Without a beer garden I wouldn't go in there regardless of the beer. Like you said, soulless.
You young'uns have clearly had a bad upbringing! Any proper parenting and you'd all know there's only one beer worth its weight in gold. Guinness! Food of the gods!
Smart thing to do is to get someone else to do him who is not connected to him or you As a quid pro quo you will do somebody he knows and you do not
Couldn't disagree more, that would make him as bad as the bloke he's got the beef with. If you are going to go down this road then do your own dirty work
Hooray . . . . some ****er's actually mentioned beer (instead of many different types of lager, which was originally a womans' drink)
Just got two boxes of mixed light and dark bottled ales given to me from the Darwin Brewery (connections through work)..I tried my first bottle last night to wash my curry down and was well impressed..
I honestly have more beer in the house than I can deal with...If I do drink in the house it is usually a glass of wine or three, so I still have loads of beer left over from New Year..I may have to organise a house party when my oldest lad gets home from Uni..
Bring it to The Victory on Saturday . . . . that'll go down well (well, it would until we got caught)
Actually drinking one of the bottles as I'm watching the Munich/Barca game..It is called Kolsch Klone and it is bloody lovely..
